*In our “Abmat offset” situp, we tuck one foot in towards us while the other leg extends during the “up” portion of the situp. Be sure to keep the blade of the tucked foot on the ground and a straight, unfolded ankle.
The purpose of this modification is to create tension & help open the hip- folding the foot undermines that effort.
