This is a workout we put up every few months to measure general conditioning progress among our regular members, and something we use in goal/ duration oriented group training at the beginning, middle, and end to measure improvement during a set period.
Ex. A 16-week LE/FD academy would perform this in week 1, week 8, & week 16. Initially to determine a fitness level, and subsequently to note and acknowledge progress. (And to tell the academy directors who had been working hard and who had not.)
There must be a jump & clap at the end of each burpee. During the lunge, the thigh must be parallel with the ground at the bottom, and the hip must be open upon the return to standing.
The knee should never move past the foot during the lunge, and the front heel should never leave the ground.
