In all but the very strangest of cases, the tire is already dead;
Simply hitting it, is not the point.
——
“Power dexterity”, balanced, bilateral coordination, basic, aggressive conditioning…
For each to improve, positioning, mechanics, timing, and violence of action must be addressed and applied.
Casually and/ or sloppily directing a hammer to hit a tire in the name of fitness is the equivalent of wandering through a mall with no shopping agenda;
You’ll eventually stop somewhere, but won’t likely know how, or why.
(And now maybe you’re tired, but haven’t done much to make yourself *better*… ).
———
Address the hammer like it misbehaved and needs to be punished;
Handle it like it just kicked your puppy.
Think out the “why”, detail out and practice the “how”, and then smash the fuck out of all parts of the equation.
—
And for God’s sake- if you hit a tire like you’re trying to coax it into a warm bath, please stop filming it and putting it on the internet.
Thank you.
