    In your fitness progression, or really any progression, one way to assure consistent advancement is to be completely sure you have the all the building blocks you need.

    One way to do that is to look for and be aware of “transferable concepts”.

    If you’re learning grappling, and are having trouble getting up & away in a scramble, look to your Turkish Get-Up. Look to your elevator sit-up.

    If you’re struggling with rowing form and efficiency, go right back to and dissect one of the first lifts you learned with us- the high pull. Or vice-versa.

    If you encounter a struggle in learning, chances are there is a transferable concept that can help you though.

    Everyone learns and processes differently- learn how you learn, and look for the clearest path to that end.

    Efficiency and efficacy will follow, and progress will lead.
