The Hindu push-up has been a valuable staple of wrestling cultures for hundreds of years.
We recommend pushing directly back into the pike position (hands and feet planted, hips high, eyes on your feet), as opposed to retracing the “dive bomb and arch”.
We have found this to be far safer, and still extremely useful and challenging.
