Mace “Pendulum Shove”

The mace “Pendulum shove” is certainly more fun than function, but is a great dexterity and midline stability drill!

Once the mace has floated past parallel with the floor, the bottom arm pulls in one direction, while the top arm “shoves” the weight in the other! Once the shove is performed, the hand moves back to its place on the end of the handle. If the mace escapes, let it go! Don’t chase it.

As Jeff Martone famously says: “Quick feet are happy feet”.
