The kettlebell “Power swing” is as difficult and taxing as your hinge position proficiency, midline stability, and tensile strength allow it to be.
There should be a visible, noticeable difference in speed between a standard and a “Power” swing; When the weight reaches parallel with the floor, it is dragged back down as violently and viciously as it was driven up. Be 110% sure you have re-braced quickly and properly before the downward hike!
Weight is a distant second to position and violence of action in this excellent variation.
